And, much more important, you can have a drink and a chat with old friends, make some new friends, inspect the results and maybe even collect an age class award and if you qualify, your 30, 20 or 10 year Hoppet cap!
There will also be a Worldloppet passport stamping display.
Prizes: There are cash, awards and sponsor product prizes for the first ten placegetters in the Kangaroo Hoppet. In the 21km race there are awards and sponsor product prizes for the first three women and men.
AGL Scholarships: Eight $1000 AGL Energy in Action scholarships will be awarded to the first Australian boy and girl in U14 and U18 in the 7km Joey Hoppet, U23 in the 21km Australian Birkebeiner, and to the first Australians in the 42km Kangaroo Hoppet.
The winner of each age class in all three distances will receive a commemorative coffee mug.
