You can either race it seriously, have fun and dress up or enter as a family! Mostly on flat terrain this 7km groomed XC course is perfect for all ages and abilities. It starts and finishes at the Falls Creek Nordic Bowl with one scenic anti-clockwise loop into Sun Valley. Once you have skied through the finish line you can enjoy mingling with other XC skiers in the bowl, cheer on others as they come into the finish line and have a tasty lunch at the Rotary Fundraising BBQ.

Schools may enter any number of teams and need to email your team lists to the Race Secretary by 23rd August 2022 to be eligible.
Get a team together for the Participation Awards
If five or more members of a club, organisation or school are taking part in any combination of the 3 Hoppet events, remember to register the group when you enter. At the presentation evening in Mt Beauty, pennants to celebrate your group achievement will be handed out to a group representative.
Win an AGL Scholarship
The fastest Australian under 14 and under 18 boy and girl in the Joey Hoppet will win a $1000 AGL Junior Development scholarship. The scholarships show a strong commitment from AGL to support grassroots to elite racing in Australia. Previous recipients have included many of our past and present winter Olympic athletes.
