Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Kangaroo Hoppet, by joining us in 2021 to ski the Joey Hoppet! You can either race it seriously, dress up or enter as a family! Mostly on flat terrain this 7km groomed XC course is perfect for all ages and abilities. It starts and finishes at the Falls Creek Nordic Bowl with one scenic anti-clockwise loop into Sun Valley. Once you have skied through the finish line you can enjoy mingling with other XC skiers in the bowl, cheer on others as they come into the finish line and have a tasty lunch at the Rotary Fundraising BBQ.
The course is a single anti-clockwise loop into Sun Valley starting and finishing at the Nordic Bowl Falls Creek.
NOTE: The course is subject to change due to prevailing snow and weather conditions.
Any changes to the course will be posted in Windy Corner Day Shelter, the Hoppet Shop in Mt Beauty and in the Nordic Bowl on race day.
