As taken from the 97/98 FIS rule book Calculation of points:
For both classic and skating races, F = 600
P = Race Points
To = Time of the winner in seconds
Tx = Time of competitor x in seconds
F = The special fudge factor
P = (Tx/To - 1) * F FIS points = race points + race penalty Calculation of penalties:
