Flower Ceremony. The place-getters in all three events will be acknowledged in a presentation to the media near the finish line at 11.30 a.m.

Saturday Night Presentation Party: At Mt Beauty Community Centre beside the Bakery in the main street. The bar will open from 7pm, with results and photos displayed. Presentations begin at 7:45pm. The Spice Trailer: Mobile takeaway authentic curry van, will be serving homemade curries from 6.45 pm.

Special awards will be made to class winners, those skiers who have completed their 10th or 20th Kangaroo Hoppet race, and skiers who have competed in every Hoppet will be recognised.

Where to get a meal before the party.

Prizes: There are cash, awards and sponsor product prizes for the first ten placegetters in the Kangaroo Hoppet. In the 21km and 7km races there are awards and sponsor product prizes for the first three women and men.

AGL Scholarships: There will be eight $500 AGL Energy in Action scholarships. These are awarded to the first Australian boy and girl in U14 and U18 in the 7km Joey Hoppet, U23 in the 21km Australian Birkebeiner, and to the first Australians in the 42km Kangaroo Hoppet.

The winner of each age class in all three distances will receive a commemorative coffee mug.

There is a Joey Hoppet schools competition with four separate categories for Primary and Secondary, girls and boys/mixed, with a trophy for each winning team (up to five students per team with best three times to count). Email your school's team lists to the race office by the Wednesday before the race.
