The National Team is running a waxing service again, with support from YMCA Windy Corner. Skis can be dropped off at Windy Corner between Sunday August 18 and Friday August 23 and picked up on the Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. All money goes towards the waxing budget of the National Team for the 2013/2014 season in Europe. There are two options, for $40 or $60, both include structure and a High Fluor underlayer, and the $60 job includes a Fluor Powder as the final layer. Ph 03 5758 3408. The following waxing services are also available:
In Wodonga - Snowgum Wodonga: located in the main street near the Water Tower. http://www.crosscountryskier.com.au 02 6056 6605 or 1300 858 667.
At YMCA Howman's Gap - The National Team waxing service will be available at Howman’s Gap.
Spare poles and top-up waxes: Replacement ski poles will be available at food stations. A limited wax supply will be available at food stations.
